- Tuesday, February 17th, Final Oscar ballots due, 5pm Pacific
- Saturday, February 21st, The Film Independent Spirit Awards 2pm IFC
- Sunday, February 22nd, the 87th Annual Academy Awards, 5pm/8pm Pacific/Eastern ABC
The Oscars are taking place, tied with 2009, the earliest in the year that they have been since 1932.
